There are so many more options than a simple veil for your wedding day head! Here are a few of my favorites and some suggestions on when and how to style them.
1. The Mantilla
An epic statement veil that doesn't cover your face. Mantilla refers to the shape of this veil, it's like an upside-down U. Laces, trims and beading often frame this beautiful headpiece. The mantilla works with almost any dress shape, just remember to balance details on your mantilla with details and texture on your dress. They don't have to match!
2. The Headband
Versatile and feminine, the headband is the perfect way to round out a delicate look. Wear it in a more vertical position (like a halo) for a whimsical boho look or more vertically for a classic look. A thicker headband can give your ensemble a more casual feel.
3. The Birdcage Blusher
This bit of net makes a big statement. It's retro, and sophisticated, and irressistebly sexy. Pair the birdcage blusher with a sophisticated or 50s/60s silhouette.
4. The Fascinator
A fascinator can accent the back of an updo or be placed front and center. It can be the perfect polish or a next-level statement. A great option for adding whimsy and hints of color.
